of Deep Meaning
The human form, reimagined.
From pen and ink sketches through the tactile,
luminescent strength of hand-layered paper.
True beauty is found in the complexity of the layers -
resilient, translucent, timeless.
Layered tissue paper art of deep meaning and personal
evolution, curated for the soulful collector.
“If there is magic to be spun, at least be aware that you are spinning it.”

ABOUT
High-tech meets low-tech
Tracy J. Hayes, Mixed-Media Fine Artist —
Traditional drawing; Mixed-media
Welcome! I am a contemporary mixed-media fine artist based in
Oregon. I create expressive, textured figurative artwork that
seamlessly blends traditional drawing, digital manipulation, and
collage. By layering acrylic paint, handmade paper, and vibrant
tissue paper, I capture timeless themes of hope, romance,
and spiritual connection. My unique, high-end art serves as
emotional medicine for soulful seekers and art collectors alike.
Artistic Style & Process—
Structure meets spontenaeity
My mixed-media collages explore the anatomy of emotion.
This signature style embraces expressive, fluid line work over rigid
perfectionism, blending classical figure drawing with the beautiful
imperfections of mixed-media.
My original tissue paper collage technique: each piece begins
with original raw, emotional figurative drawings. Merging my
graphic design background with fine art, I scan and refine
these sketches digitally.
Then my drawings are printed onto various colored tissue papers,
creating an ethereal, luminous quality where the human figure
merges with its environment. Using advanced collage techniques,
I build these layers onto art boards prepared with acrylic paint,
stamps, inks, and specialty handmade papers.
